How to find us.Our Address is - Exton Village Hall, Station Road, Exton, Exeter, Devon EX3 0PS.
This is off the A376 between Exeter & Exmouth, ( just over four miles from Exmouth). Parking: We have an arrangement with St Andrews Church next to the hall for hirers to use the church car park free of charge. There is also free street parking. Exton Railway Station.
This is on the Avocet Line, which runs between Exmouth & Exeter, Some trains also go on Paignton.
The platform is situated at the end of Station Road, 5 minutes walk from the hall, & runs along the Exe Estuary, with wonderful waterside views. As there is no ticket office, you can simply walk onto the platform just to admire the view.
Trains to Exton - Not all trains travelling on this line are allowed to stop here. You should check the departure times of trains that can stop at Exton. This is mostly every hour.
Exton is a request stop only, therefore when entering the train you must find the guard & ask for it to stop at Exton.
To board the train at Exton Station - as the train approaches you must signal to the driver that you would like him to stop, (like hailing a taxi) & then simply purchase a ticket from the guard on the train.
