Our hall is the beating heart of the village,

Many local clubs, groups, & classes use the hall for their regular meetings. You may wish to enquire about joining one. Details can be found under the Activities & Events heading. (Clubs Classes & Groups).
The Drama Club has productions throughout the year, such as a pantomime, & various plays which you may wish to see. When tickets are on sale details will be on the EVENTS page. We are pleased to hire the hall for your special events such as childrens parties, meetings etc. If you run a local club you may wish to transfer your meetings here. The kitchen (pictured below) is available for use by hirers. |
Main details: Traditional compact village hall. Fully equipped kitchen, stage, rear room, store room, male & female toilets, heating, lighting, power points, etc. Ample tables & over 50 chairs available for use by hirers.
Maximum capacity 120 persons. Disabled Access details, We have a disabled entrance on station road & a small portable ramp is stored just inside, next to this entrance. Toilets, we do not have wheelchair access inside toilet areas, however they are on the ground floor with easy access as far as the front lobby. If a disabled person is able to walk a little then this may not be a problem. If concerned please arrange for a viewing. Please see Floor Plan below. All areas are included with hire of the hall. |

The area marked on the plan as changing room is also known as the Norton Room in remembrance of a lady who helped in the hall for many years. It is also known as the Green Room by the Drama Club, as used by the actors waiting for their part on stage.
